This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature…I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations. – George Bernard Shaw
“The beauty and tragedy of the modern world is that it eliminates many situations that require people to demonstrate a commitment to the collective good.” – Sebastian Junger

Apprenticeship Training Program
September 30, 2020 @ 8:00 am - October 4, 2020 @ 1:00 pm| $400.00 - $2200.00
We are entering into our tenth year of HJ Apprenticeship Training.
Enrollment is by application only. Apprentices are selected for their desire and their capacity to facilitate groups using the mythic perspective of the Hero’s Journey ®.
Apprentices who are considered to be ‘apprenticing’ are doing so in relation to their own soul’s purpose. They are devoted to both a process and a vocation that requires them to ‘polish their diamond’ in order to become ‘a soul awake in this lifetime’.
Those who wish to be considered in this training have already been through a Hero’s Journey Intensive at least two times, or have done equivalent work.
They are looking to further their experiences in a contained and intensive transformational learning process based in wilderness settings, are focused on bringing alive the Hero’s Journey myth, are eager to cultivate facilitation skills, and understand that their own presence is a vital and necessary element to be used to engage others.
