August 2nd – 8th, 2020
We are offering a Dynamic Online Journey Intensive.
A Women’s Online Journey
This is a time like no other for women to come together in community, with an intention of diving deep into transformative journeys together. We journey for our self but not by our self. This past spring – and now this summer – have been unlike any other that we have experienced in our lifetime. We’re experiencing disruption, disorientation, and deep uncertainty, as worlds we once knew and understood have now come undone. We have already entered a wider Unknown, and how we dive inward in these times with others as allies, will inform how we emerge, how we come out of this birthing something new within and as a collective.
We are a community of women drawn to living the Hero’s Journey® myth from across the globe. We are here to provide solid, meaningful and dynamic group containers for women who long to be a part of and held by something larger than themselves.
We are a collection of women whose calling in life is to create and shape space for what’s wild at Heart, and courageous of Soul. This is the Original Journey. This is turning toward the Wild Unknown, the thing you might not want to face, but has shown up at your doorstep anyway.
We invite a stepping away from the day-to-day demands of the current intense times, and taking a Journey to inward spaces and places in need of tending.
“The psyches and souls of women also have their own cycles and seasons of doing and solitude, running and staying, being involved and being removed, questing and resting, creating and incubating, being of the world and returning to the soul-place.” – Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
We are adapting and creating unique opportunities for shared participation in a journey that holds the necessity of risking, embraces mystery, and welcomes your creative power.
Over and over again- no matter what- we place ourselves on the edge of transformation, on a developmental edge – spaces that hold the potential for awakening and illumination on one hand, and the inevitability of pain, struggle, and the disappointments of being human on the other.
We’ll enter these dark spaces of the psyche together; it’s important to not go it alone. Together we’ll find ways to dissolve the familiar stuck patterns we each hold, and uncover the abandoned or forgotten inner resources and strengths within. As women it is intuitive, we know how to hold one another and be a resource until that woman sees her own resources within. We are each cultivating fortitude, magnitude, resilience and creative power to be able to live into our daily tasks as well as a deep, meaningful life.
We are fortunate to have been working intensively online for a number of years already, and we are experienced at creating dynamic communal and group encounters in an online screen format.
We will not try to replace the summer journeys we create on the mountain, rather we’ll build and create the necessary vessels needed for deep, meaningful, and transformational work – work that can only take place in a solid and vitalizing group experience.
In this way, the group work itself will hold a continuous thread through the week-long journey processes we have worked with now for decades.
As facilitators, we are taking up the element of online group work with the same passion, creativity, and aliveness that invites us up the path to any mountain! We are currently enrolling and invite you to join us in our Online Journey Intensive for women.

An Orientation To The Women’s Journey
In 2020, the Women’s Hero’s Journey ® Summer Online Intensive will provide women with the best of what we have to offer – our intensive group work. Our journeys have been designed to deeply engage the particular needs that women face at essential developmental stages throughout our lives. What we do during these experiences is actually live the journey myth of the hero or heroine.
The archetypal myth of the Hero’s Journey ® is an ageless and timeless immersion into the transformative currents of personal and planetary evolution.
It is particularly relevant in these times of a global pandemic – in a politically polarized world – and in a culture demanding a deeper reckoning with racial injustice and police brutality.
The journey calls us away from the familiar horizons of home and habit, and to venture forth into the unknown territories within us. It calls us to the adventure given us by living into our one true and vital life – as we face the ordeals that call us to our best and most authentic responses to the circumstances we are facing.
Through consistently ‘do-able’ action, we become a living, personified inspiration of whatever potential lies within the consciousness of our human bodies and minds.
Joseph Campbell said that it is not an exaggeration to say that the hero’s myth provides us with a ‘secret opening‘ through which the inexhaustible life force energies of the universe pour down and into human beings, making the eternal world manifest right here in our daily world.
Campbell called this ‘becoming the zeal of eternity for incarnation in time’. When we are actively living into and coming forth from the hero’s myth, when we actively take up our own personal challenge and journey through it, we both embody a personal, vital presence while also being aware of and connected to a presence larger and beyond what we typically live.
