A Fall Musical Immersion Journey at Lifebridge Sanctuary
Introducing a new musical experience of living the depths
of the Hero’s Journey® myth through vocal expression and song.
SING YOUR WAY INTO AliveneSS
– MOVE BEYOND WHATEVER HOLDS YOU BACK –
– EMBODY YOUR VOICE TO BRING YOURSELF MORE ALIVE –
– RENEW YOUR ENGAGEMENT WITH MUSIC AS A HEALING VESSEL –
– ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE PART OF A MUSICAL ENSEMBLE –

This uniquely composed workshop makes available, through embodying and expressing one’s own voice as vessel and instrument, a felt sense of what it’s like to be immersed in the joyful participation of being alive in one’s body among other bodies, through the rhythms and expressions of making music together.
Goldberg, Blum and Levin, in their book Here I’m Alive, state that ‘the vocal exchanges we have with other people over the course of the day carry the potential, in music, of a renewed connection between our embodied existence and our being in the world‘.
They add, ‘Music appeals to us because it offers the possibility, through (vocal) tonal variation, of a fresh take on what it feels like to be alive in one’s body. Music gives us a way to live in our bodies through the presence of other bodies’.

A BRAND NEW HERO’s JOURNEY® IMMERSION Into VOICE and Music
Lifebridge Musical Room Group Space

“You need music. I don’t know why.
It’s probably one of those Joseph Campbell questions, why we need ritual.
We need magic and bliss, and power and myth, and celebration and religion in our lives – and music is a good way to encapsulate a lot of it.”
– Jerry Garcia

Join other intrepid musical adventurers from across the United States and Canada on our four-day transformational immersion in upstate New York.
This thoughtfully crafted and enlivening experiential journey into your own embodied voice will take you to new depths within yourself. Be ready to open and expand your consciousness, and give yourself the gift of the time and space, encouragement and support needed to take your place in the mythic world of a musical ensemble.
This four-day immersion is intended to bring you closer to the vital aliveness that emanates from your own soul nature, as you surrender into living a moment fully.
Any authentic immersion into your own vocal depths will ask you to go where you have not yet gone before – in service of awakening to what is newly possible – by singing with, singing to, and singing for others, as part of a vitalizing musical ensemble.
Go Into The Unknown| Experience Vocal Initiation | Return With a Song and a New Story
An Orientation to the ‘Voice Ensemble’ & JourneyING INTO YOUR DEPTHS THROUGH MUSIC
This four day immersion promises to be one of the more exciting, adventurous fun you’ve ever had at a workshop.
This workshop will take you to the edge of what you have ever dared to do with your voice. This unique opportunity offers you ‘a leap of faith‘ – into an enlivening sense of freedom and overflowing joy found in vocal resonance and embodied self-expression. It can take you far beyond what you ever imagined yourself to be capable of.
In the Fall of 2025, this HJ Immersion offers you a distinctive experience – living into the unfolding adventure of the Hero’s Journey® myth through voice, music and song.
This immersion has been created to deeply engage the particular needs that we are facing at this pivotal stage in our lives.
We will embed the archetypal myth of the Hero’s Journey® into the transformative currents of musical pursuit.
This musical journey calls us away from the familiar horizons of self-limitation and habitually playing small, and calls us to venture forth into the unknown territories and untapped capabilities within us.
Through a deeper re-consideration of our capacities, and risking newly ‘do-able’ actions and expressions, we become a living, personified inspiration of aliveness, by using our voices to tap into whatever potential lies within the consciousness of our human body and mind.

Testimonials For Korel’s Vocal Facilitation

Rob Thomas - solo, Matchbox 20
I’m just going to say it. You should ONLY be allowed to sing OR play as well as Korel does. The fact that he has such an impressive vocal range AND can play so many instruments so well seems unfair to the rest of us. That said, I feel lucky to be an accomplice in the heist!

Jared Pettys
Korel made it super easy and we had weekly lessons via zoom and I was very pleased with how passionate he was about music and voice and I heard quite a difference in my vocal range and accuracy live at my shows
I am a full time touring musician but I still feel self conscious about my voice and sound especially when dealing with a pro on the level of Korel but he made me feel so comfortable and he is such a genuine person and I even made a friend out of it! If you want to step your voice up to the next level. I definitely recommend Korel, you won’t regret it!!

Katy Perry
Korel’s never met an instrument he didn’t like (or one that didn’t like him back)! He’s so musically gifted and I’m proud to have had him as part of my band!

Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse, Radio Xx)
I first met Korel in 2007 while my band Lifehouse was opening for his group, the Goo Goo Dolls.
I had always admired the way he would approach his singing, as it always sounded like his voice was a locked support to Johnny’s, just like how the records sounded.
Fast forward a decade later I have been getting consistent vocal coaching over Zoom with Korel and have become a proficient lead singer.
Voice is my second instrument. Korel is aware of this and has me growing exponentially, shaping my thinking and exercise habits vocally through his experience as a singer, guitar player, keyboardist and saxophonist. Thank you for everything buddy!
“There often came to him one and the same dream apparition, which always said the same thing: ‘Socrates, practice music’.”
