Answering the Call for Transformation
The Hero’s Journey® Foundation supports individuals and groups in responding to life’s universal call – to move beyond current circumstances, confront and transcend personal limitations, and to emerge with renewed vitality and purpose.
Our programs are designed to guide participants in navigating these profound shifts, bridging the insights gained through transformative experiences into everyday life and professional practice.
Through a combination of wilderness journeys, immersive retreats, and deeply intentional group processes, we create opportunities for participants to discover new possibilities and perspectives in their life, and integrate meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to these impactful group experiences, we offer comprehensive training programs designed for those seeking to deepen their understanding of group facilitation and transformative process work.
With Lifebridge Sanctuary as our home, we offer a uniquely grounded environment for this work—a space of natural beauty and intentional design where reflection, connection, and growth can unfold.
We also welcome groups with shared values to rent Lifebridge Sanctuary as a venue for their retreat work, fostering a shared commitment to growth and depth.
Whether journeying through wilderness landscapes or gathering in the Sanctuary’s quiet embrace, our mission is to inspire transformation that radiates outward into the world.

The Hero’s Journey® Foundation and Lifebridge Sanctuary are located on the ancestral lands of the Munsee Lenape people, the original stewards of this region. We honor their enduring connection to the land, water, and sky, and we recognize the resilience and contributions of Indigenous communities, past and present.
As stewards of this land, and of the transformative work that takes place here, we acknowledge the sovereignty of these tribal nations and their traditional territories that have shaped and cared for this land long before us.
The Hero’s Journey® Foundation furthers the work of myth historian and teacher Joseph Campbell, and places the idea of a “ Mythic Journey” in a living context, recognizing this universal experience as a template for understanding a well-lived life.
