Through the embodied expression of your own voice, this uniquely crafted Journey Immersion invites you into a direct experience of what it feels like to participate fully in the aliveness of your own life. As voices gather in song, something remarkable becomes possible: we begin to experience ourselves not in isolation, but in relationship with one another, discovering the vitality that emerges through the shared rhythms and expressions of making music together.
Goldberg, Blum, and Levin write in Here I’m Alive that “the vocal exchanges we have with other people over the course of the day carry the potential, in music, of a renewed connection between our embodied existence and our being in the world.”

This thoughtfully crafted experiential journey into your own voice invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself and with others. Through song, shared experience, and the support of a welcoming community, you’ll have the time and space to explore your voice as an instrument of expression, presence, and connection.
Over four days, you’ll be invited into the vital aliveness that emerges when we fully inhabit the moment and give voice and musical practice to what longs to be expressed.
Like every authentic Hero’s Journey®, this immersion asks you to venture beyond the familiar, awakening to what is newly possible by singing with, singing to, and singing for others as part of a living musical ensemble.

The Voice Ensemble Experience
This four-day immersion invites you into a living, somatic exploration of voice, song, and the Hero’s Journey®. Together, we’ll discover what becomes possible when singing is approached as a pathway into deeper presence, expression, and relationship.
Over four days, you’ll sing in ensemble, listen deeply, explore harmony, engage the timeless patterns of myth, share meaningful conversation, and discover the unique vitality that emerges when voices come together in community. The experience unfolds through music, reflection, embodiment, and the living encounter with one another.
As with every authentic Hero’s Journey®, this immersion invites you beyond what is familiar. With curiosity, courage, and the support of the ensemble, you’ll explore new dimensions of your own voice and the possibilities that emerge when you allow yourself to venture into the unknown.
Voice has the power to awaken parts of ourselves that often remain just beyond the reach of words. Through song and shared experience, we begin to encounter those places with greater openness, confidence, and freedom.
This immersion weaves the timeless pattern of the Hero’s Journey® into the living experience of voice and song, inviting each participant to answer the call, cross new thresholds, and return with a deeper relationship to themselves, to one another, and to the life that longs to be expressed through them.
Do I Need To Be A Singer?
This is probably the first question many people ask!
The answer is no.
This immersion narrow the exerperience of singing down to performance. It is for people who are curious about the relationship between voice and aliveness.
Your voice is not simply something you have. It is one of the ways you meet the world. It carries joy and grief, confidence and hesitation, memory and imagination. Singing has always been something humans have done together.
Whether you sing every day, only in the car, or can’t remember the last time you sang with another person, you are welcome here.
Korel Tunador has spent decades helping people discover voices they never imagined they had, from first-time singers to professional musicians. What matters most is not experience, but a willingness to explore.

All of us at HJF are thrilled to be bringing to Lifebridge and to The Hero’s Journey Foundation the gifted, spirited, enthusiastic facilitation of our friend and musical guest, Korel Tunador.
For the past twenty years, Korel Tunador has toured the world as a singer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keys, and saxophone), performing with notable acts such as Rob Thomas, Katy Perry, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Visiting nearly 40 countries and all 50 states, he has played in many of the world’s most iconic venues and appeared on numerous major television shows across the U.S., Europe, and Japan, including The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!
As a voice coach, Korel has mentored closely under renowned expert Dave Stroud, continues to study voice science, and has completed the BAST Voice Teacher Training course. Korel teaches from his studio in Ojai, California, and offers online lessons to students worldwide.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Korel’s musical background also includes a variety of creative endeavors, ranging from Improv Jazz Big Bands to performing on TV with Papa Roach.
He is comfortable working with all skill levels, from beginners to touring professionals, bringing an easygoing yet focused style that always finds the fun in ‘being in the experience together’.

Michael Mervosh, M.Ed. is the founder and Program Director of Hero’s Journey® Foundation, a non-profit organization with establishments in West Virginia and New York. HJF offers intensive programming based on mythic models of transformation and personal development, serving participants across the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe.
Michael is a licensed psychologist, and he has maintained a private practice of psychotherapy and consultation in Pittsburgh, PA, for 30 years. He received his Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has participated in many post-graduate psychotherapy-based training programs over three decades, both as a learner and as a teacher.
For the past 20 years, Michael has also offered body-mind facilitation training programs in the USA and in Spain. He regularly offers psychotherapy-based workshops in countries throughout Europe, including Hamburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam, Zagreb, Tuscany, and Instanbul.
Michael remains passionately devoted to what brings him most alive – his involvement with his family and friends, his own way of embracing the Hero’s Journey® myth, and immersion himself in his love of musical embodiment and expression.
