Your Men’s Journey Preparation
This is the preparation information for those men participating in our Hero’s Journey Intensive in West Virginia in July of 2024. Here you’ll find all the information you need to prepare for your summer journey.
Keep in mind that the preparation process itself is an important part of setting the stage for your Hero’s Journey Intensive experience.

In a way, you’ve just begun making your way to the mountain in West Virginia. You are creating a space for new possibility within you, for a future potential that awaits, still untapped. With every step of your preparation process, you move yourself closer towards a threshold that will take you into the unknown.
Please create the time to focus on giving your full attention to each of the sections of the preparation process.
SECTION ONE
Men’s Intake & Release Forms
The first stage of your preparation requires you to take care of all outstanding logistical and procedure matters – first things first! You will see all the required forms that need to be completed in order to take the summer journey. We need to know your essential contact information, your tenting arrangements, any dietary or physical restrictions, etc, in order for us to be prepared to serve you best.
NOTE – All of the above forms must be completed no later than July 4th. We strongly encourage you to complete these forms as soon as you can make the time to do so.
SECTION TWO
Men’s Journey Preparation Documents
After completing the intake and release forms, you next need to turn your attention to the preparation process for your upcoming journey. You will find in this section all the documents you need to do your inner preparation as well as logistical preparation. Do not wait long to begin this process. Your responses will begin to awaken your inner life to your upcoming journey.
SECTION THREE
Make Your Final Payment
If you haven’t already made it- it’s time to make your final payment.
Community Sharing and Travel Information
In this section, you will find practical information for your Journey: travel suggestions, the GPS address, and info about the private WhatsApp group, whereby you can communicate with other men’s journey participants regarding ride-sharing, travel planning, and other types of logistical information sharing.
Final Preparation Information
This section contains the essential matters you most need to be aware of as the time draws nearer to your journey. You will find a final checklist here to help you make sure you don’t forget anything vital for your journey.

Covid Protocols
For the coming July 2024 Men’s Intensive not COVID tests are necessary. We ask you to be mindful about your personal health, and if you are unwell, you should not attend.

Once you are on the mountain with us in West Virginia, it is important that you set aside all communication with the world you leave behind. That being said, you can be reached in case of emergency, or for a matter that needs urgent attention back home. The phone number at Experience Learning is 304-567-2632. If our staff is not near the phone, they can leave a message or try back another time.
